Getting Started
What to bring to the table
The more detail you share upfront, the faster and smoother your project will go. Here's what helps me create something you'll love on the first pass.
Colors & Theme
Let me know your preferred background color or if you have an image in mind for the background. Share any colors that represent your organization, event, or brand — hex codes, color names, or even a photo with colors you love all work great.
Photos & Images
Send any photos you'd like included — headshots, event photos, logos, or product images. The higher the resolution the better; phone photos are usually fine. If you don't have images, let me know and we can discuss options.
Your Text & Message
Provide all the copy you'd like on the piece — event name, date, time, location, description, contact info, taglines, scripture references, or anything else. The more complete the better; editing text after design begins takes extra time.
Size & Format
Tell me what size you need — standard flyer (8.5×11), half-sheet (5.5×8.5), bulletin cover, postcard, or something custom. Also let me know if you need a print-ready PDF, a digital version for social media, or both.
Style & Inspiration
Do you have a look in mind — elegant and formal, bold and energetic, warm and welcoming? Share any examples you admire, even from other industries. A rough sketch or description of your vision is always welcome.
Timeline & Deadline
Let me know when you need the finished piece. Rush projects may be possible depending on schedule — just ask. The more lead time the better, especially if the piece needs to go to print.
